Professor Matthew Evangelista on Gender and Nationalist Violence

Stockholm University Graduate School of International Studies (SIS) is happy to welcome you to a lecture on: Gender and Nationalist Violence: What We See in the Movies, with Professor Matthew Evangelista, Cornell University.

Professor Matthew Evangelista teaches courses in international and comparative politics. His current teaching and research interests focus on the relationship between gender, nationalism, and war; ethical and legal issues in international affairs (particularly, just war theory and international humanitarian law); transnational relations; and separatist movements.

The lecture is co-organized by the Higher Research Seminar at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University, and SIS.
