Mark Bromley is co-Director of the Dual-Use and Arms Trade Control Programme at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and a PhD Student at the Department of Economic History. Mark's research is focused on examining historical and contemporary developments in the arms export control policies of states in Western Europe and North America and their relationship with wider political and economic trends. Mark holds a BA in Social and Political Sciences from St John’s College, Cambridge, and an MA in War Studies from King’s College London. He has previously worked as a Policy Analyst at the British American Security Information Council (BASIC).
