Kajsa Hammargård is a PhD-candidate in International Relations at the Department of Economic History.  She is interested in understanding how the secretariats of international organizations deal with and process complex problems. Her dissertation focuses on the internal organizational aspects and the bureaucratic processes of the European Commission’s decision making procedures during transnational crisis. Kajsa has a B.A in Sociology from Stockholm University and M.A in Political Science with focus on Crisis Management and International Coordination from The Swedish Defence University.  Kajsa has previously worked as an analyst at CRISMART, the center for crisis management studies at the Defence University in Stockholm.
