Lisa Svanfeldt-Winter is a PhD student at the Department of History. Her dissertation work is part of the project Scientific Personae in Cultural Encounters in Twentieth Century Europe. She is especially interested in how gender and nationalism played a role in the matter. She held a MA in Nordic History from Åbo Akademi University in 2014. Before attending the PhD program, she has been working with writing, teaching, and at museums.
