Major research grant to project on gender equality, diversity and societal security

Fia Sundevall, at the Department of Economic History and International Relations, is part of a multidisciplinary research team of scholars from four Nordic countries, which has been granted 9,5 million NOK from NordForsk for the project, “Gender equality, Diversity and Societal Security”. The project, which received funding under NordForsk’s Nordic Societal Security Programme’s call for proposals on “The Underpinnings of Nordic Societal Security”, is led by Norwegian sociologist Dag Ellingsen and will run for four years. Research will focus on the transboundary interdependencies that shape crisis development, and will explore the capacities, legitimacy, and effectiveness of national, regional and international responses.
  • Vetenskapsrådet finansierar tre nya projekt inom ekonomisk historia vid Stockholms universitet 2018-11-19 En ordentlig förstärkning av den konsumtionshistoriska forskningen på institutionen. Det blev resultatet av årets utdelning av projektanslag från Vetenskapsrådet. De tre projekten berör på olika sätt aspekter av konsumtionshistorien som tidigare forskning på olika sätt förbisett. Det sammanlagda beloppet uppgår till över 14 miljoner.
