The theme for IVA’s 100 list 2021 is: ‘From knowledge to sustainable crisis preparedness’.

This includes technical and economic sciences with a focus on sustainable preparedness for future crises. Research with the potential to create benefits for business and society, for example through industrial commercialization, method development or societal impact, is awarded.

The aim moving forward is to understand how transformative processes are remaking the scene for global politics and governance, and thereby advancing the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
